Sorry for your loss. A eulogy for a parent is a very tough task


My humble advice having done this twice:

1. Write it down - emotions will be running high and no matter how well you think you have what you want to say memorized, it is easy to get off track.

2. You will cry - we all do. Take a moment, gather yourself and continue. Those in attendance will understand.

3. Your Dad has never been more proud of you than he will be when you are delivering his eulogy. Proud that you have the courage for this one last act of love.

It is not easy, but you will get through it.
