Never sled head first???? Pfffft! Things I have crashed into on a sled. Car

bumper.....raised head just at impact. (Don't ask...I was a novice. Thankfully car was parked and not moving). Barbed wire fence. (It was at bottom of slope and one had to make a sharp turn to miss it. I didn't. Brand new Sears Roebuck winter coat took the brunt.....till I got home where my rear end took the brunt ...see "brand new coat" above.) Ditch and snowbank......(well we were seeing who could get to bottom first....no rules. Fellow behind grabbed my runner and spun me out). Briar patch, miscellaneous bushes, couple other ditches, best friend, etc.....lots of sled adventures.
