When the Big 10 was 10 teams they used to play 8 conference games not 9.


They picked who would go to the Rose bowl by best record (with tie breakers, of course). No one worried too much about not playing everyone else.

So, we should just do that. Abolish divisions and pick the best two for the championship. Why the NCAA does not currently allow that is beyond me, but we should petition for that change to the rules.

It is worth it to allow us to play a bigger variety of ACC teams during the season.
