They are the same company for all intensive purposes and sell the same thing. I'm in the HOA in our community so I hear of most problems. Of 48 homes built within last 4 years a very high percentage have already had problems including myself. Most homes have the "American Standard" branding but again they are the same company. Coil leaks, electrical issues, etc... as I type this I can hear my system buzzing which is a sign of another problem (likely a bad sensor from what the net tells me). I'd stay away from American Standard/Train brands. 30% more expensive and the quality is highly questionable imo as is the warranty claim process (which took me 3 months to navigate a year into ownership). Buyer beware....
