the school year. D’Amour intended to bring Gillis with him. It just took a little longer to make it work.

The issue with the recruit was not handled well though. D’Amour wants to turn around the program as quick as possible, and he received his “training” in an SEC environment. Hopefully any future such instances will be handled better.
