I have a top loader w/o the agitator.

It cleans better than the one it replaced (Kenmore with an agitator.)
There were two issues with it,
1. It developed a front loader smell. We now keep the lid open and have no more issues.
2. With some age (approx 5 years), the suspension wore out and it couldn't handle the spin cycle. I replaced the old ones and we are going strong on the new set.
