We were also at the banquet and have followed the program since inception.

Your comments regarding the senior comments are spot on, as well as the coach’s comments. We also spoke with several of the prior year players whose comments mirror yours. The players are excited to get the season started.

I had met several of the new players at a Fall fundraiser and chatted with some of them at the banquet. The newest member of the team, Keara Napoli, a transfer pitcher from the University of Georgia, went out of her way to introduce herself to a lot of the attendees. She said that the Georgia staff worked her to change her pitching motions and movements, which did not have good results. She said that the VT staff wants her to go back to her prior motions and movements and will be working with her to accomplish that. She really likes the campus and area as do the other new players.

Based on what I heard at the banquet I believe the new staff will be successful in getting the team back to its winning ways.
