Same thing happened with one of our chihuahua/weenie dogs

She went back end paralyzed overnight one day. She can sort of use her back legs on grass but otherwise not working. But she is a very small dog and stays in the house anyways. Hate it for your guy, lost a couple of those size dogs to rear end/hip issues over the years, it stinks.
