SImilar for us with a Great Pyrennes / Golden Retriever mix
He was 12 at the time, and big dogs usually cap out about then, but he seemed perfectly fine until what seemed like a seizure one night when we had visitors. Off to the emergency vet, where they found a small tumor.
One month later, as he seemed to be getting better each day, he had another event and it was now a large tumor and we did have to euthanize him.
