One position at my last job was cursed

The woman who was there when I started left one day and deleted all records she had ... turns out she was artificially inflating attendance numbers at our online educational webinars to make herself look good.

Her replacement got fired for credit card fraud. Most people paid online for our webinars, but if you were trying to register within two hours of the start, you had to pay over the phone. She kept that information and was using one card to pay her cable bill, another to pay something else, and testing for more.

Finally, HER replacement got fired when we had an investigator show up at our office asking to speak with the CEO to confirm her salary. She'd falsified multiple documents on a mortgage application and the bank got suspicious and was following up. She had doubled her salary, so we removed her salary. lol.
