I'm guessing it wasn't awkward. I'm guessing it was all friendly and


laughs. I know the real life anti-social prudes on UWS would disagree but it's pretty normal for couples to joke about sex at parties. In my experience, it's healthy. We get so used to raising kids and all the stuff that comes with that actual adult interaction and about real adult things without kids or, at least, without any in ear shot is therapeutic.
