You can't get better comedy than Rutgers....


While those pompous north ends of south bound mules known as the Rutgers 1000 touted their superiority over many other institutions they were essentially running their athletic department as a Ponzi scheme built on the backs of the students and taxpayers in the State of New Jersey with a to date total of approximately $400 million being pilfered. Looking at that report the only thing that has really changed is the Big Ten was willing to step in for the university subsidy on the belief that cable carriage/TV deal will be the ultimate last man in. That may work but, the outcome is far from guaranteed and dependent on future TV network negotiations.
