Columbia and Spyder are solid

Dick's Sporting Goods in Bburg carries Columbia and Spyder jackets. Both are solid for skiing. Columbia is a great value too as a brand that makes good clothing but doesn't have the cache name to overcharge. Spyder makes even nicer jackets IMO but they do cost more.

And FWIW, I recommend the multilayered coats with an outer shell and one or two layers inside that can be removed or worn on their own. One coat perfect for any conditions.
