Churn out the best software people and don’t worry about chemistry or Psychology or other electives that don’t directly relate to that job.
I wonder if any brick and mortar places will adapt and offer targeted degrees that don’t require all the electives. Imagine getting the college experience for 2.5 years and graduating early because you cut out a bunch of electives. I’d consider that if I were a kid these days or as a paying parent I’d consider it as well.
