My daughter did that.


Did the first two years at community college,then transferred to VT. She learned a lot during those two years. They weren't wasted. She also worked during CC. She grew up a lot and got loads of confidence those two years. Did very well in CC and at VT. Has an excellent job lined up upon graduation in May.

I think people should do their first two years at CC. Four year colleges cost too much these days to waste $40k-$100k on two years of immature kids taking basic classes that could be taken anywhere.
