Maybe the ACC should have used VT in the ACC/BIG10 Challenge


The ACC went 10 - 22 versus the Big 10 in this year's softball challenge.

Here are each team's records within the 4 pods:

UNC 3-1 (swept #17 Michigan, split w/Northwestern) - hosted
Louisville 1-3 (split w/#17 Michigan, swept by Northwestern)

Boston College 2 - 2 (swept Mich. State, swept by Illinois)
Georgia Tech 2- 2 (swept Mich. State, swept by Illinois) - hosted

Duke 1 -3 (split w/Penn State, swept by Indiana) - hosted
Syracuse 1 - 3 (split w/Penn State, swept by Indiana)

NC State 0 - 4 (swept by Wisconsin & Nebraska) outscored 22-6 - hosted
Pittsburgh 0 - 4 (swept by Wisconsin & Nebraska) outscored 46-3
