Right after seeing Top Gun, I flew with my boys to NJ. In the waiting area,

there a man with an Air Force uniform on. They kept staring at him and he ended up in the row behind us on the plane. As we were taxiing to take off, the plane was silent until my youngest (they were 3 and 4 yrs old at the time) stood up, turned around and asked him, "Is this plane going to turn upside down?" And the entire plane heard Techmom say, "It better the hell not!"

It was a true E.F. Hutton moment.
