Did you get any codes? Recommend part "price shopping" ahead of time!

If you need a EPS Control Unit Module, much cheaper to pick one up on Ebay from a wrecking yard. But if you want new, then go online and search for the cheapest option from all of the Honda/Acura dealers online. Guarantee it will be cheaper than you can get it locally, unless they price match.

For example, OEM parts from a Acura dealer:
- EPS Unit $816
- EPS harness $56
Heck, a new engine PCM is only $1,009.

Not sure where people are getting $1,800...does it take that much labor? Where the heck is it located? No idea if other versions of TSXs are more expensive, but I seriously doubt they're going to be that much more expensive.

In the mean time, I would get the part number and start searching for the best price online. You don't have to pull the trigger until you're told it's bad.
