I like to get on my soapbox recommending Costco membership

It really is a great deal, even if you don't buy the Executive membership. I believe the Costco Visa alone gives you 4% back on gasoline from Costco pumps, which may be the cheapest gas in town. You get another percent or two from the Executive membership, so (bottom line) you're saving 5-6% on the cheapest gas in town.

Last year's rebate was a bit higher, and I used it to buy a self-propelled mower. I think the rebate covered 90% of the mower.
