Stalling on bottom


this is the #1 change I'd like to see.

1. At a minimum, don't call it "stalling." The majority of times it's called, the bottom guy is not avoiding action, he's incapable of getting out. Most times it's called, the guy on the bottom is behind and will ultimately lose. He's not stalling, he's getting beat.
2. I think it's fine to reward the top wrestler for putting the bottom wrestler in that situation where he's incapable of getting out.
3. So, is it better to just change the riding time rules? Lots of options here. Don't make it a cumulative thing would be the first. Make it a per takedown thing? Take a guy down and just ride him for 30 (or whatever) seconds and you get a riding time point (or 2 or whatever)? Then at that time, return to neutral?
