Look at the backlash from Fix/Suriano

Match is in overtime and ends on a hands to the face call, granted I'm sure we can all agree that rule is frustrating to say the least, and people are pissed. The same thing almost happened woth Rivera/Lee in the big ten finals that one was a challenge but do you really want the ref to decide a match of that caliber because someone was going for a head tap and the opponent took half a step back and hit lower on the face. I think the stalling calls, not necessarily this one I haven't watched the match yet if I'm being honest, have definitely helped college wrestling get more active but there has to be some clarity behind what constitutes an action call vs a stall call because there were many situations this weekend where I think the wrong thing got called a lot of which are coming from top and bottom and being run straight out.
