So if you are going be in the vicinity of the drill field..................


go visit the Pylons and the Cenotaph. The names of the 7 Congressional Medal of Honor alumni are engraved on the cenotaph and the names of the 432 VT alumni that have died in the line of duty to our country are engraved on the Pylons. Including the name of the first female, Ensign Sarah Mitchell, VTCC Class of 2017, who died last July while serving as a surface warfare officer on a guided missile cruiser participating in an exercise in the Red Sea.
