In 2026, the law is supposed to sunset back to where it was for 2017.

In that sense, everyone who just got their bill cut (which is almost everyone) will get a tax hike, because the cuts expire. Just like when the Bush cuts were set to expire in 2010. Obama had those extended into 2013 or 14, I think, and then changed things back.
