Have to agree with this If the kid


eats, sleeps, and only thinks about getting better all year long then that kid could be special with really good coaching/camps, etc.

Two of my boys were excellent baseball players (coached by me) and could have been pretty good but it was just something they weren’t passionate about, which is okay. These two boys are now passionate about making music.

I am the only jock in our household, playing and coaching men’s softball for 25 years. I never made my kids do something they didn’t want to.
