I doubt it will be "on his own terms," but it will be because he makes
a mistake, not because someone is better at the game than he is.
Sooner or later, he is going to have a bad day, or just not be mentally focused, or he'll have a cold, or something that will mean his head isn't fully in the game. Then he will miss a DD or FJ question he wagered big on where he knew the right response, just couldn't come up with it in that moment.
And look for whoever does beat him to have a win streak somewhere around 3. The person who beats him isn't going to be the most epic Jeopardy contestant ever, they will be an average contestant who was in the right place at the right time.
