There have been mixed interpretations re: that prophecy with some (spoiler)
suggesting valonqar could mean "younger sibling" and not necessarily little brother as others have interpreted.
But after last night, and reading one or two theories this morning, I do think Jaime's speech to Brienne was a continuation of his attempted redemption arch and him grappling with being a terrible person. I don't think he's going to go back to Cersei particularly as he just learned she had hired Bronn to kill him & Tyrion - I think he realizes the threat she is and that the group heading south might fail and he wants to help.
After last week, I thought Cersei's were the green eyes Arya would close forever to satisfy the red woman's prophecy (and she would be the younger sibling), and that very well may be her intent, but I'm starting to suspect that those green eyes will actually belong to Dany and that Jaime will dispatch Cersei after all.
Another certainty - Clegane-bowl - The Mountain vs. The Hound - is a definite and Arya will get involved somehow. I suspect the Hound is mortally wounded and Arya finishes of the Mountain and Arya does in fact leave the Hound to die a second time as she suggested in their exchange last night. She also doesn't intend to return north and killing Jon's GF would make that more difficult.
