Do you only have one cable/internet provider available?

I'm curious what the situation must be for the savings to be that large. It's somewhat surprising to me as Fios and Xfinity are available at my residence and both offer promotional TV+Internet+Phone packages for $80/month for 2 years. Usually you can get a premium channel and/or prepaid card thrown in with that deal as well. It's true that after the DVR and fees you will be paying closer to the $100-$120 range but it's still in line with or cheaper than the price of internet and streaming TV service.
