Yeah that is kind of the passive aggressive version if you will


not making light, just trying to read between the lines.

Both my father and wife's grandfather were explicit. My wife's grandfather, in his last month, asked us to *help* him die faster because he was so miserable. He was very healthy which I think contributed to his sense of despair as he was extremely depressed, and was literally just tired of life away from the loved ones that had departed before him, in some cases 80+ years ago during WW2
