I don't remember the exact details, but first 'fix' was to simply replace


the sensor that senses if something is in the way as it closes. 2nd time, they did that again, but in testing it after, it was still failing 1/10 times or so. They engaged higher level GMC service in some way, they recommended changing out some other part in addition to the sensor and that got them to 1 failure in 15. They then went for one more part that kept it there an extra day and they didn't have any failures in their testing.

And neither did we, for about a month. Then an occasional one, and so on and so on as it got worse.
