My wife zinged me so hard during delivery of our first child that it caused

The entire medical staff in the room to look at me nervously.

About 10 minutes before she arrived in the world, I made a smartass comment to my wife.

Her response? “Shut up, CPRV, you don’t even know if this child is yours”

I will NEVER fully get back to even footing with her. I’ve never been prouder.
