Had similar I put coffee into a disposable to go cup like 7-11

Pick up the coffee to leave for work, top pops off and my grip squeezes the cup hot coffee flows into my hand - it hurts really bad and I drop the cup in the counter coffee flies all over my clothes and on the floor. Went from walking out the door to cleaning coffee off everywhere going to change clothes, then dog had to go out. Let dog out she chases a skunk (it’s still dark) gets sprayed then jumps on me when I open door to let her in and smell everything and stop her from coming in house. Leave dog out go into garage for a minute to collect myself and realize I don’t smell like skunk. Get in car and leave forgetting my new coffee on counter. Left dog outside for wife when she gets up and at work having coffee from Starbucks : )
