Tell everybody you like!

What a day! Sound and internet stopped working on my laptop. It said the Windows Audio Service was not enabled and no Audio devices were installed. It didn't detect either of our networks. The network Discovery and Adapters disappeared, I could not toggle airplane mode or enable the folders they said or find the wifi switch.The Network List and Connections Service became invisible and the Dependency service group failed to start.

Short story: I tried at least 10 remedies (all documented) and they couldn't even find the files and also said other files were making my operating system unsafe. I even had a blue screen of death! And of course, each device's troubleshooter couldn't detect the problem.

Finally, after HOURS, I got the bright idea to restore my computer to the previous version, 1809. Everything reappeared and is fixed! All my internet tabs are back and all my programs are still there!

After today, I think I'm qualified to work part time for Geek Squad.

My other pet peeve: Microsoft, it's your product. Develop troubleshooters that identify the problem instead of a meaningless code and if it's necessary to change a parameter in an impossible to find file, put a button in the instructions to take me there!
