You don't need to type commands in Linux anymore unless you are doing

atypical or not using Ubuntu, Mint, or similar. Sometimes to fix a problem you do, but it is no worse than following the instructions you got for windows that tell you to mess with the registry or click 19 menus deep. If you are so inclined, learning it can make some things easier.

Heck, I just built a light-gaming PC running Linux and so far what I've tried to play has run fine and played nicely with my AMD RX 580 (though I may be getting lucky to have not found a problem yet).
