Well, twisted pair reduces crosstalk between the pairs, but it doesn't

do anything to remove external interference. In other words, the blue pair of wires is twisted to reduce the blue signal's interference on the green wires' signal. This is why shielded ethernet cables exist which do provide shielding from external interference (though that is only necessary in specific use cases, e.g. industrial).

I suppose the second ethernet cable could be done in such a way that it provides this same shielding effect? To test, you'd need a significant source of external interference in the first place.
