idea.

The lights and/or whether it opens or remains where it is might help diagnose the problem. Unfortunately, that information is likely in the manual.

To see if it's a force problem, try closing it manually and see if it offers a little more resistance at some point along the way.

I've also seen the sensors be aligned properly but as the door closes either the vibration or the force of the door causing the track to move ever so slightly causes it to lose alignment. If that is the case, you should see the lights on the sensors do whatever they do when you sweep your foot in between them.
