I bought both earlier this year.


But I got a killer deal on a 3rd gen Apple Watch from Amazon, and I couldn't pass it up. Also bought a iPhone XR (this year), so you're one phone behind...lol

Neither the phone, nor the watch was a planned buy. I saw I could trade my old 6S into Apple for cash, and they also gave me some money for my old Gen 2 Apple Watch, so I used the cash to make the XR cost very reasonable.
