Yes. The mini blender type grinders turn some particles like dust and


leave some chunks. The small particles release acid before the average and larger bits have released all of their flavor so you are more likely to have acidic, bitter coffee. A burr grinder is like a pepper mill so the particles are similar sizes. The grind is adjustible so figure out the right size for your brewer and you get better, more consistnt coffee
