According to my wife, that's the new business model. Don't worry about


the old customers, just get new ones. That would seem to be the model followed by the Hokie Club. Don't worry about old, long time donors, they'll be replaced by newer donors. The problem with that philosophy, is that the newer donors can't give at the level the old time donors did, until about 15 years after graduation. Also, the younger donors are more transactional (like the HC), and will only buy single tickets, thus the HC loses out on unpaid premiums.
The new business model also doesn't provide customer service, because it's a waste of time, money and assets, from their viewpoint.
