"You made your first gift to Virginia Tech one year ago."

I just got a postcard from Tech with this on it. It's all otherwise fine, except the "first" part is really wrong (ironically, I also just got a Pylon Society sticker in the mail). This is not enough to prevent me from giving, but it's definitely irritated me. Anyone else have a similar experience? Am I right to be bothered, or should I consider it an honest mistake and let it go?
