To have someone come fix it and got a bill for $479. The problems was the circuit board on the handler was shot (damn near melted). Because of the tenant, I paid the bill without question but called the AC guy yesterday to ask for an itemized receipt. He asked why, and I told him I wanted to know why i paid nearly $500 to replace a $50 part. He asked if I thought that was too expensive and I said yes. He asked how much I thought it should be and I said well I know you don't work for free, I know you have to bump the price up on the part so I would imagine $300 would have covered the installation of a $50 part. He said he would charge me $325 and put the refund in the mail. Very odd story, the guy either feels guilty for charging so much or is lying to shut me up... we'll see
