The riding standing up made me think of a ride I had a Raystown Lake.

It had rained the evening before our ride and the trail was pretty muddy. We go out on the trails and we stop to have lunch. We watch the riders go by. Every rider that went by had mud head to foot, except for one guy. He is a small guy who rides standing and bunnies all mud puddles. I was thinking how exhausting that must be, but he had the look of a cross country runner. It probably was no big deal to him.

We even saw a few riders on "fixies" and I nothing but complete admiration that they can ride that terrain w/o any gearing.
