Keep in mind, your tuition back in the 80's was heavily subsidized by


the state. That's not true anymore. Tuition wasn't completely free back then, of course, but compared to college prices today, what we actually paid years ago was peanuts. Hell, many of us could "work our way" through school (or at least get out with a manageable debt) on close to minimum wage jobs. Nobody is paying for college these days by working their way through at $7-$10/hr.
