Value is what....

a willing buyer agrees to pay a willing seller. Given the fact there were two competitors a low value was probably more the realistic price reflecting the operating realities than an attempt to get a bargain basement buy. I am guessing the rejection by Scott has far more to do with ego and optimistic projections he had already given the PAC12 leadership than hurt feelings/insult. Scott was a questionable choice for Commissioner from the start and the PAC12 schools double down on their losses with each subsequent misstep.
