Good options for streaming to TV?

Folks, we have a decent tv (size), although it is getting a little older and will be replaced in a couple of years. Sometimes it has had trouble buffering when watching things, such as movies on Netflix or Amazon. However, I discovered that I had no such issues when I did the streaming through a blue-ray player we had. A message popped up on the blue-ray that they are discontinuing support of Amazon (maybe other stuff too). We don't really use the blue-ray any longer - just for streaming Netflix, Amazon, etc to the tv. I am not the most tech-savvy - what are some good/easy options for me to ditch the blue-ray and get some other kind of box/system for streaming apps/services such as Netflix, Amazon and others to the tv?

If you have Prime, get a Fire Stick, or possibly a Fire Cube -- hoosnowahokie 09/20/2019 09:12AM
How do they work "better" than a smart tv? ** -- HokieForever 09/20/2019 2:09PM
It's not so much better as more user friendly... -- hokeeron1 09/21/2019 09:15AM
