Personal preference is Roku or Firestick over Apple TV

Apple TV is overpriced compared to the others with the main differentiating benefit being able to easily project an iPad or iPhone screen to the TV. Roku has different models but the base models are solid. I think you may need to go up a couple if you need 4k. Amazon's Fire Stick does have a cool remote that you can talk to but not much difference from the Roku interface, IMO.

We actually have 2 Roku TV's made by Sharp and have been pleased with those. The TV interface is built around the Roku interface so it works better than your typical Smart TV using it's own, poorly designed, interface and platform for streaming apps.
