It's been a few years, but IIRC...


Butch Davis got fired just a couple days after the terms ended for some BOG members who supported him. Once they rotated off the board, Davis was gone, later on the old AD (Baddour) was forced out, and eventually the at-the-time UNC chancellor (Thorp.) In more recent years, nobody on the BOG significantly got in the way of UNC spending a zillion $ on lawyers fighting the NCAA.
