Ex Sister in Law accidently hit my garage door with her car


She was on phone and did not realize car was still in drive and she hit my garage door.
My garage door is 13 years old so I would probably need to replace it in 2 to 5 years anyways.
Estimate to fix two damaged panels is $760 or to get a whole new door $1425
Her insurance company is coming to inspect tomorrow
I am leaning toward getting a whole new garage door because I am probably 2 to 5 years as away from needing a new one anyways.
Even if her insurance only agrees to pay $800 I think I would be better off getting a whole new door.
What do you guys think?

My ex sister in law is really upset and feels bad about it. She was dropping off my niece and is really embarrassed. I did not get mad at her as I felt really bad that she was so upset. Thanks for any advice.
