Of course I remember Butch! And I'm glad you brought him up, actually.

I remember a time when I was playing with him by making a hook with my index and middle finger, and letting him tug on them like a chew toy. I thought it was harmless fun, but you got annoyed with me, so I stopped. I thought I was just playing - I have never been able to resist playing with dogs. But I always ask now, ha, as I should, so it turned out to be a teachable moment for me :). After thinking about it back then, I finally figured all of the drunken idiots were messing with him all the time, getting him riled up, and I was just one more. Always wanted to say sorry about that.
