That's the question, isn't it? Who has the control?


He may give the renter access, but you can bet the landlord will also have the same access.

Also, do those systems have "admin/user" differentiation? I would think the landlord would maintain control as admin and the tenant could be a user, but when the renter moves out, the landlord has to be able to lock out the tenant's access -- and the tenant has to be prevented from locking out the landlord.
