Yeah, I read the article and felt one way, then watched the video and felt


differently. This article is a great example of "woke culture" with folks taking something out of context and using it as their cause to drive up the hill.

watch the video in the article - she talks honestly like a mom about how she feels about the kids and the encouragement she's trying to give them. the players talk about looking forward to that hug getting off the bus, feeling like they have a second mom on campus, etc...

assuming this is a legit, nothing more nefarious behind the scenes thing, it will be a shame that she will probably be discouraged from so openly supporting the players. perhaps it will at least lead to a conversation, if one has not happened already, between her and the team so that anyone feeling uncomfortable or out of place with the practice understands they have no obligation to participate.
